Question: Can I give SolaPup chews to my puppy?

Answer: Yes, from 3 months of age. Our standard label dosing is designed for adult dogs, so puppies need a different, gentler approach.
 
We recommend starting with 1 chew/day regardless of your puppy's weight, and staying at that level until the puppy is 12 months before considering any increase.
Puppies' bodies are still developing, and younger dogs, especially those who have been spayed or neutered, can be sensitive to higher doses of glucosamine and chondroitin.
As a general guide by age and breed size; 
Small and medium breeds (adult weight under 50 lbs) can begin moving toward adult dosing from around 12 months. Large breeds (50 to 100 lbs adult weight) should stay at a lower dose through 18 months.
Giant breeds (over 100 lbs adult weight) benefit from a more gradual approach through 18 to 24 months.
If you notice increased urination or any accidents after starting or increasing the dose, simply reduce back to the previous level, it resolves quickly.
