It began with Roxy — a broken, ex-puppy mill dog who taught us that true wellbeing comes from whole-body care and real love.
She gave us the determination to give her the life she’d never had.

Roxy: The Dog Who Was Thrown Away
Our story begins with Roxy, an ex-puppy mill rescue who came into our lives carrying the effects of years of neglect. She faced complex health challenges, including severe skin, ear, and paw issues linked to hormonal imbalance and longterm poor nutrition— struggles that made everyday comfort and movement difficult.
Caring for Roxy changed how we viewed pet wellness. We learned that mobility isn’t just about joints — it’s about supporting the whole dog with care, integrity, and gentle, natural solutions.
Choosing Nature Over Chemicals
Multiple Vets had multiple solutions: antibiotics, steroids, medicated washes, endless prescriptions. None of them addressed the root cause. They treated symptoms, temporarily and Roxy suffered all the treatments, visits, prodding and poking like a star.
I knew we needed a different path — one that respected her body rather than overwhelmed it.
When we couldn’t find products that aligned with our values, we decided to create our own. SolaPup was founded to honour Roxy’s legacy and to support dogs who still have many adventures ahead — with clean labels, carefully selected ingredients, and thoughtful formulations designed for everyday life.
Roxy became the springboard for everything that followed.
